Normally when I acquire a Honda Nighthawk 750 the tires are shot so I replace them with the OEM size 110/80-18. This recent acquisition had a 110/90-18 on it that is in very good condition. Is it okay to run the 110/90-18 on the 93 Nighthawk?

If you have plenty of clearance to the fender I don't see a problem. I normally run a 100/90-19 on the front on my '79, but I think there's enough room for a 110, which I may have to switch to because most places have the 100/90 out of stock.

Hey there. I'm the owner of a 01 CB750 Nighthawk, and I honestly don't see a problem with having a "90" sidewall, instead of a shorter "80" sidewall. Just please keep in mind, that an "80" will be a bit "firmer" and You'll have quicker and more precise steering and control at higher speeds than You would with a "90" sidewall! However,it all comes down to your preference! For example,if You're the kind of rider who loves Tight twisty road rides, then I'd definitely go with the shorter sidewall tire size! But if You're more of a streetbike rider who rides the bike mainly on flat, straight roads, then I see nothing wrong with keeping with the "90" instead of the "80"! Take care.
