Throttle plate help

Hello. So amongst many other sinful violations of my poor 750, the PO did this. See photos. The finger for one of the arms on the throttle plate was broke off on one side, and they substituted it with some wire to hold it in place. I laughed, but it does work. However, I would like to rectify the situation and replace the broken part. It looks like Honda only sold the entire throttle plate, which is part # 16035-300-004. Super expensive. I found a throttle plate on Ebay as part of an entire carb package, which is more than I need.

1) Can I get just the circled broken part separate?
2) I have a 72 model. If I go with a scrap yard, which bike model years will match the Keihins in my bike?
3) Suggestions on getting this obscure part?

search a little deeper on ebay parts are everywhere you will have to buy more then just the part you are looking for but there are many deals on there.

I needed one of those to complete a set of carbs I bought to rebuild as a spare set and found another cheap set on Ebay for cheap to get that part and lots of spares, I think there are probably more available your side of the pond than here in the UK just keep looking and something will come along.
