I've just bought a spare tank for my K1/K4 project, and totally against Sod's Law, the one badge on this tank is the LH one that I'm short of.
So now I've got a matching pair of undamaged but scruffy looking badges with most of the paint missing.
I'm thinking of a good soak in paint stripper to get back to bare metal (well chrome plating actually), and then purchasing some small brushes and tins of the paint used on plastic model kits.
Should look OK if I just paint it in by hand, I reckon, but I'm wondering if using paint formulated for use on polystyrene plastic is going to give adhesion problems when used on metal, especially considering the bike will probably be used all year around.
Not really sure what else to go for.
Anything else cheap and cheerful that would do a better job ?

Modelling paints or acrylics work well , I used modelling paint on mine

Thanks for that.
I like the idea of using syringes instead of brushes.
And convenient too, considering there are loads of used ones just lying around in the town where I live, especially near the railway station.

Had to go to the dentist for a cash extraction and they gave me some syringes of saline solution . Check out these bad boys , just the ticket for painting badges and sucking fluids from tight places
