Sump plate

How difficult is it to remove the sump plate with the engine in the frame, I have the exhausts off and bike on a lift table, is it just a case of removing bolts and tapping it loose or are there other issues to watch for. Im assuming it will fit between the frame rails.

These are some of the bits, broken cam chain guide but what are the little metal spring like bits, load of black gritty bits as well

Are those pieces about the same size as the threads for the drain plug on the pan?

Yes they could have come from the plug threads
