Starter relay

So I bought an aftermarket starter relay for my 1981 Honda 750 custom and it does not work. Some reviews say you need to change the terminals— does anyone know which terminals?? Left to right or just twist entire plug

I have found no joy in getting and aftermarket unit. They all seem to be backwards with the fuss in the way. I'm looking to get a cheap one and use its parts to fix mine
