I need some help. I've got a 2000 cb750 and when I go to start it all I'm getting is a click in the starter relay. Tossed multimeter on battery and it reads 12.6V. As soon as I turn key to on position voltage drops to 12.13v which I'm sure is the reason it's just clicking, not enough power to start bike. Then I turn key to off position battery jumps right back up to 12.6v. I've checked all wires to see if any breaks or corrosion and seems to be OK. Any thoughts?

Hmmm. Seems to me 12.13 should be adequate for starting. I’m guessing by now you have applied voltage directly to the starter. I’m guessing that is/was your problem.

Same happened to me unplugged the relay sprayed some wd on it and made sure it was all the way down. Fired right up eBay sells them cheap if that doesn’t work. Good luck 👍🏻

quick question where is the starter I have looked and looked had the same issue however i just don't know where to start to fix the problem
