Ive got a 1970 K0 diecast and 5 x K2 CB750's. I had an original K0 back in 1969 and seen to remember the clutch and brake levers had a black plastic end on them. Anybody any comments on this please and was it changed after the K0/K1?

You are correct, they had black rubber tips on them as well as a clear plastic coating on the length of the lever. I believe they all had em. I know my K4 did originally.
CMSNL sells the rubber tips as well as complete levers for both sides.

My F1 has the same arrangement but I removed the clear plastic which was yellow and brittle then buffed up the alloy levers, couldn't get the plastic knobs off though, tried heat but couldn't get it soft enough to come off without destroying them, they seemed to be bonded to the plastic coating, rubber replacements are available from the usual places so might just get two rubber ends and cut the old ones off.

I kept trying to buy new ones and was continually sent the wrong ones . So in the end I did the same as loki , stripped them and polished them . Very happy with the result , should have done it first , could have saved some money . Might even try some plasti dip for the ends , but I`m happy with them just polished
