Hi Guys!

New to town.

We are looking for the value on my father's motorcycle, as we are looking to sell it.

My father has a 1978 CB750f Supersport that he bought brand new in 1978. Its the black main and orange secondary paint scheme, and had a custom Yoshimura exhaust put on it in the 70s. Is otherwise stock.

Currently has 28,565 on the odometer.

Runs and rides fine. Would get carbs retuned, new rubber, fresh fork seals, oil, plugs etc before selling.

Does anyone know around what these guys go for?

Any advice is so greatly appreciated.

My best advice would be to use "Bring a Trailer." These guys' auctions always seem to get much more $ for vehicles than anyone else. I understand they have higher fees, but you can get that info before signing up. Prevents you from having to deal with morons on FB MKT, eBay, CL, etc....

Beautiful bike, my friend! GLWS! -Lee

Much better looking than mine 27 000 miles and I had to pay around $5 000 USD in australia

Believe it or not- I've been looking for a SOHC super sport and just expanded my search. Can we discuss via email or phone?

Just wanted to inform that I don't see this option on my end, when following those steps.
Try now. You need a message count of 5 to start conversations. We had too many spammers using the private message system so we had to lock it down a couple of years ago. In the welcome notice at the top of the site it should have said this:

Welcome 1stOwnerCB! Looking for how to post? Click 'Forums', then click the Post New Thread button. New members are not allowed to create a new private conversation (message members privately) until you have 5 forum posts. You can still receive and reply to messages from other members if they start the conversation.
