So after some 'starting' issues, my 1982 CB750C now has a larger electrical issue. With the battery fully charged, I found when I turned the key that the battery voltage would essentially collapse (no lights, nothing) to pretty much nothing. I eventually found that when I removed the 4 pin connector to the Regulator/Rectifier (R, G, B wires) that I could then turn the key and things would appear normal i.e., lights on, I could hit the start and crank the starter motor, etc. Has anyone heard of a dead short through the Regulator/Rectifier module that doesn't blow any fuses? Anyone ever encounter anything like this?
