Shifting Issue

74 CB 750. having intermittent issue when sifting into gear from dead stop out of neutral bike will lurch and die, Is this the safety switch and where is it located. Out on the road bike shifts smooth with no issues. Have checked clutch adjustment but seems okay. Any help greatly appreciated.

Could be oil issue ..wrong oil ???
Causing clutch packs to stick a bit.
My former 78 cb750F , if I let it sit for a few days the clutch pack would be stuck.
And I had to put in first gear
Then hold clutch in and then jerk bike back and forth to get clutch pack to release..

Sticky clutch plates not the safety switch . Once the plates go rusty and stick they do this all of the time . You either have to do what raggaren said everytime you ride it or untill you change oil enough to clear it . Or you have to strip and clean the plates
