Was wondering if anyone has an exploded view or assy view of the shift mech. for a 73 ish CB750? Below is the assy I am asking about. I have all the parts but were in a box when i purchased this bike. The manual I have is terrible as far as detailed views or explanations. Thanks!!!

UPDATE: I did find something online that just might work... I will keep this posted just in case.

I can help if you still cant figure it out. Many of the aftermarket manuals use the old honda pictures from the first bikes and some of the parts look different but functions the same.

So this is what I have.. doesn't match the illustration but it's just about the only way this thing will go together. Notice the little groove in the disc on the end... the indentation is not facing the way the illustration shows

Yes the illustration is from the very first 750's. Your drum is the design that came after and the one honda used till the end of the sohc750.

Ok... Really it would only go together 1 way. So I kind of figured it was correct. Now to get the shift linkage on there.

yes it really is mostly self explanatory. You can send a pic when you have it together if you want to double check it looks right.

I have it! Will watch and thanks for the link. Haven't buttoned up the cases quite yet but have ran through the gears and it seems to shift to all 5 and smoothly!!
