Good evening everyone,
An absolute newbie when it comes to carburetors but I am learning.
I separated the number four carburetor to start the clean and rebuild (this is a barn find that has not been registered since 2012) I am having trouble removing the secondary main jet emulsion tube. I sprayed it with pb blaster this afternoon and will go at it again tomorrow. Can I and should I use heat to persuade it .
Any help will be appreciated. Hope everyone is having a merry Christmas season
Paul

Not really sure, or I don't remember, even though I successfully cleaned three sets and assembled two sets last summer. I believe that is the one that I always leave in place and soak/clean it without removing it, per Seans manual.

Thanks mrt
I downloaded Sean,s manual.
And referenceing page 12,
I am going to reread the manual again tonight maybe I missed something but it will not hurt going over it again.
Thank you for your help hope you and your family have a merry Christmas
Paul

So after 24 hours since spraying pb blaster
I was able to remove the secondary main jet emulsion tube. Absolutely freezing here in New Hampshire (17 degrees in my shed lol) but feels good to have done it.
Thanks Sean for the great manual.
Paul
