This old girl deserves better than sitting in my storage unit, and I need to find a home before we move out of the country. Mine was running beautifully when I put it into storage about 10 years ago. I put several thousand happy miles on it back in Missouri and loved every one of them. I'm just not the right rider for Connecticut roads, and she deserves someone who'll actually ride her.
To get it back on the road you'll need:
Fresh battery charge
Gas
A carb look-over wouldn't hurt, but I drained them dry before storage, so they should be in great shape
Here's what makes this one special: I have the full meticulous service records, The factory service manuals, The forums service manual. I customized the handlebars and seat over the years, but all the original stock parts and crash guards are boxed up and come with the bike — so you can keep the custom feel or restore it to factory. I also have a fan-sourced replacement side panel (an exact match) that just needs a repaint.And I'll throw in my armored jacket, gloves, backpack, and helmet.
