Hi all,

Cylinder 1 on my K6 1976 does not run unless choked.

Engine has been taken apart and is fine. I do have a spark and new spark plugs do not help
Carburetor looks fine (no blockages and no dirt) but something is wrong.
When changing floaters, nozzles and such from cyl. 2 to 1 everything works on cyl 2 but not on 1.

It comes to live if I use starting gas or choke the intake.
For me it seems like there is a loss of vacuum

Can this be related to failing gaskets on faulty inlet rubber (insolator).
I see no obvious signs of wear.

This first happened after approx 1 year of not using the bike (it worked fine before).

Having to use the choke to run is a sure sign of a clogged pilot circut . You are going to have to strip and clean your carbs . Were they left with fuel in them for that year ?

Thanks,
Carb has been fully stripped and cleaned but have to check again.
They were emptied before storage over winter.
