Rocker arms chrome chipped

Well I just bought a CB750K 76' that was in pieces at time of purchase. Just closely inspected my rocker arms and four of them have chips and deep scrapes. I have already looked for replacement parts on my local Honda parts website. I need help, any thoughts???

Find good used or Dynoman has a service to hard weld and regrind them. http://www.dynoman.net/engine/cams/webcams_honda.html#sohc-ra Do not run them or you will ruin your camshaft.

Yea, I know not to run them I am an experienced automotive tech. I found a company that will re-chrome them and regrind! Thanks for the link I will shoot them an email and see what their prices are.

The hard welded rockers will last much longer then the re-chromed will. If you plan to add a bigger cam the hard weld will be insurance. Most aftermarket 750 performance cams are hardwelded then ground...they last much longer then the stock camshaft even with the increased spring pressure.
