Hi all, thanks for letting me join, just finished a resto on a VFR750 and thought I'd try something a bit classic so did a deal with a friend of mine for a stalled resto.
Bike is registered with the DVLA as a 1977 CB750F engine number CB750E 2558650 which seems to be in the right range, so far so good, however when I looked up the frame number, CB750F 1036193, it came back as a K0! from 1970, is this right or have I got my wires crossed somewhere?
I haven't got the frame and motor here yet to check on the actual numbers just going from the paperwork, the tank and seat are Super Sport for sure, wheels are spoked with single front disc and rear disc not the later Comstar ones.
Any ideas? it came to my pal as a built up bike so I know it all goes together, some work done already before he ran out of steam, frame blasted and powder coated and wheels rebuilt.
Many thanks
Loki
