1979 CV 715 to carves off.Cause they were leaking through this vacuum port.Clean them ready to put them back on.But I don't know if this vacuum port is supposed to be caped or not.My petcock does not require a vaculine. Also why would it be Is leaking through the vacuum port. Thanks in advance

That is not a vacuum port, it is a vent. If you have fuel leaking out there then I would say the carbs are flooding. There should be a hose that attaches there and runs up high by the airbox. It is probably time for the carbs to be rebuilt.
