Hi in the middle of engine rebuild on my 1978 CB750K and realise I'm missing a plate /thrust washer of the Alternator assembly that sits on the shaft that holds the starter motor gearing. Does anyone know where I may be able to require one as the part is no longer available from Honda. Alternatively does anyone have dimension so I can have one made?
Thanks

Hi do you mean this part Item 7 Part No. 28109-300-000 in the parts book?
If it is it would seem to be common to all engines from K0 onwards so should be available somewhere, I did find one UK for £10 https://picclick.co.uk/Honda-Starter-Gear-Setting-Plate-CB750-A-K-F-28109-300-000-222715213181.html

Thanks Loki the item you showed me was unfortunately sold but I've managed to find one on ebay from Vintage £24. Expensive washer but at least it completes the build. A year into the project and finally starting to see the rewards. Hoping to get the engine back into the frame soon ready fro a spring test drive :)

Luckily there are still parts out there it's sometimes just a case of keep looking and then all of a sudden there it is! As far as I'm aware it is a spacer to stop the gears from chewing each other up?
