Hi all, quick question on engine painting.
I’ve removed old paint (paint stripper), prepped surfaces and etch primed.
My question is how many coats of VHT enamel black paint should I need (I was thinking 2) and what are thoughts on a VHT clear coat? Is clear coat needed? Is matt, satin or gloss best?
I’ve never painted an engine before so be good to know what people think. Also, I’m using compressor and spray gun if that helps.
