Hi I have a 1972 k2, the oil jets in the head look as if they won’t come out, I don’t want to get hold of the spigot, it looks too flimsy. Any ideas ?
Also the exhaust valve guides don’t have provision for an oil seal as do the inlet valve guides, is this correct?
Thanks in anticipation
Phillip

Send a picture of the oil jets and of the head. It almost sounds like an earlier head. The very early heads did not have removable oil jets. The later ones can get stuck but normally they fall out or get stuck to the oring and come out with the cam towers. They normally come out with just a need nose pliers if they are a little stuck. I have heard some people saying k2 still had the early exhaust guides without seals but I have only seen it on the K and early K1's. I have a couple K2 heads and they are later style guides with seals. But yes the early guides dit not use seals on the exhaust. Newer guides will work in the head no problems.
