Oil in the air filter box

Took out my air filter and there was a small pool of oil in the bottom of the air filter box. Is this normal? My guts say "not really" so if its not normal, what could it be a symptom of? Cheers in advance

Higher mileage engine? Older engine has more blowby to pump more mist up into box. Ring wear.

Overfilled oil can do it too.

I had a similar problem with my 1982 CB900F. Blowby, yup.
