Hey guys, this is a 1978 cb750k. I am getting spark on 1 and 4, but not 2 and 3. I am getting power in the yellow wire all the way up to the connection to the coil. The multimeter reads that it is getting power, then as soon as I plug it up to the wire that connects the coil it drops off. It has a tight connection so that's all good. Maybe the coil pack is bad and trying to pull too much power? I'm not sure, any advice?

With the ignition points open for that ignition coil you should have 12 volts there . If not that wire maybe shorted to ground . Is the ignition coil warm or hot . Meaning current is flowing thru it constantly .
