No juice

I have done everything I’ve been told, I have a new rotor, new stator, when I start it I don’t get any AC Volts. The brushes are making contact WTH????
Any ideas

Us there a voltage out of the regulator to the bushes in the rotor?

May need a new voltage regulator.

As the generator does not have magnets to induce a voltage in to the coils on the outer section, the inner rotor, must be energised through the two bushes to create a magnetic effect. The regulator determines how much voltage to provide the inner rotor to get the desired output voltage to charge the battery. So it regulates its output buy changing the input to the energised rotor or stator.
