Hey all. Short intro: My first bike was a 1976 CB550k that someone "chopped" by opening the Dennis Kirk catalog to the "Bling" section and just said, "YES." At least as far as one can go with a 550, anyway. I still have it, but it's changed a lot since then.

Given the chopper theme, I started lurking around Hondachopper.com, but was always on the outside because they are dedicated to the 750 (and rightly so). I counted my pennies and marked my time until I could get my first 750, a 1973 K. Bone stock except for a huge king/queen seat that looked like a pair of tractor saddles. I had that for a few years but never had time to work on it, then got into a bind and had to sell it to pay bills.

Years pass, and even the 550 has fallen into disrepair; most recently I've woken it up from a ten year (!!!) slumber. That's a heck of a dry spell. I'm back on the lookout for a 750 and I think I have one, I'm going to look at it this weekend. It's rough, but it's in my price range: CHEAP.

Anyway, I hope to be hanging out here more. I don't have the time to forum like I used to when I was an office jockey, but I'll contribute where and how I can.

Well, that didn't work, guy sold it out from under me. That's the fifth one so far... maybe I'm not supposed to have one.
