Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the forum but not the CB750. I first owned a CB750 in 1972 when I was able to purchase a K0 750. Unfortunately, at that time no one thought much about sand casting and the eventual value of these bikes. I kept the bike a year or so and traded it for a couple other bikes. I did have a fondness for the CR750 that won Daytona in 1970. So I thought I would post a picture of the CR750 pistons from the CR kits available at the time. The pistons only had two rings, compression and oil. I'm currently working on my version of a cafe racer and not a replica of the CR750 (which would be less that comfortable on the street). Attached is a photo of a mock up of a bracket for holding the tachometer (I won't need the speedo). The yellow is so it shows up in the photo, the final won't be yellow.
