I've used several other TC Bros "house brand" items that had very good gloss black powder coat, but not the forward controls specifically. Your pics indicate a faulty coating - perhaps overcooked IMO - you may want to contact them before you go further. Those will be nothing but grief.

I would contact them as well. Quality of everything has gone down since covid, I am tired of companies using it as an excuse so if I find defects they take that stuff back. Not saying that is what happened here but obvious defects need to be dealt with.

Going to re powdercoat them along with the frame with my local guy just disappointing you spend that kind of money and that’s what they send out with their name on it..

Hey gang!
I’m working on my trike project and finished getting my seat hinges and pins in so the seat opens and closes back down on the frame but I noticed on the underside of the seat pan there are two small threaded rods that stick out I’m assuming these are for the seat lock ? But not positive and if so do I need the seat lock and slider? To be able to lock the seat down? Any help greatly appreciated!!
Thanks
Ray
