Rebuilding engine on my 81 750. I know I have seen posts on here from amc about the "hard/expensive" to get main bearings for the DOHC. On Partzilla they are $17.50 EACH. Is that accurate that I am going to shell out $180+ on main bearings? Any places you know where I can purchase them from? Those are crazy prices

honda parts-direct.com shows them in the $10 to 14ish range depending on color. Remember this is for each bearing half. If the bearings look good and clearance measures out fine there is no need to replace them.

I have found that the only problem is availability of the colour that you want. I ended up at $17 bucks each for 10 so $170 for a set for my 900F. But at least I did find a set in England. Nothing in North America. Netherlands has usually got some decent stock I have found over the years.
