so i got this cafe racer like 3 weeks ago i love it. so the brakes started making noise like they need to be changed how do i doo it. is it dificult? should i take it to a mechanic?

How about starting with year/make/model. Then fill in the blanks about the "café" nature of the bike. Are these brakes you speak of stock or some sort of custom abomination? Can the seller give you any information about the brake system used?
You are likely going to find that most shops won't touch bikes over 10 or 15 years old, especially something that is heavily customized and no longer stock. The liability is too high, and the learning curve is too steep, when trying to "reverse engineer" somebody else's "grand vision".
Any details you can get from the seller will go a long way towards helping figure it out.

looks like you need an attitude check. it wass just a simple cuestion about stock brakes. custom abomination? i guess thats why they wanted to buy my bike at the big st.charles harley store. ill get my info from some people with more respect. thank you for your time.

LOL.................some people are so full of s....................even if stock brakes there are 500 types and different procedures for each. And if so simple, why the questions???
Hopefully, people like that make themselves heard loud and clear early on and one very big reason why shops won't work on older stuff; too much changed up by owner and harder to get parts, never mind dealing with the owner himself, the funnest part. People that mouth off that quick are often the fastest to sue as well.
There's gotta be a Harley joke in there somewhere but I'd best shut up while I'm still ahead.

That's a shame too. Some people don't understand that we are not sitting there next to them looking at what they see. Pictures help, but even a basic shred of information would go a long way to helping others understand the question. He misread my post by failing to recognize the question mark and interpreting my question as some sort of slam about his bike that none of us has seen (pictures?) nor has it even been described to us other than "café racer" whatever the hell that is... I like coffee as much as anybody, but have never felt compelled to be in much of a hurry to get it.
