Greeting. New guy. 72 K2 that is in incredible condition. Lots of bikes but this is the first vintage one in my garage.
Searched forums, need real world advice on the starter clutch I just replaced. Still knocking around a little so has anybody doubled springs, does it need a new stator, or there’s a guy I thought I saw who fits them with a slick sprag clutch.
Oddly…lol…it does it now only when coming off a quick rev, or it’s on the side stand. Only grabbed starter for a brief moment but not consistently. Starts right up and releases the clutch. Just rattles.
