I know nearly nothing about fixing bikes, so take it easy on me.

I thought maybe because I had used regular fuel (not non-ethanol) and it sat for about 2 weeks that maybe it was gunking up the carbs... So I took it for a ride and it seemed to clear out after 10 minutes and ride just fine. But the next time I rode her a few days later the lurching and bogging down was back and much worse than before. I can get her up to about 60mph, but throttle response is terrible with little bursts that nearly buck me off the bike.

If I get the bike up to speed (or just have it up on paddock stand) and pull the clutch in and rev the engine it revs like absolutely nothing is wrong — it's not sluggish or bogging down. But then I let out the clutch and its back to bogging down and lurching. This makes me think it's not a carb issue.

Thoughts? Thanks

2 weeks shouldn’t make a difference. I do always put stabilizer in my tank at every fueling and drain the carbs if it’s sitting more than a couple weeks. Sounds like something else is wrong
