Gave up the road bikes for the last 15 yrs and got into motarding . Had to sell it a couple of years ago , I was either going to kill myself on it or lose my license for life . So got the same thing in a trailbike . Just as much fun but now I can do the stupid stuff in the dirt , greg
At some point I may have gone to the dark side for a few years. Near bike is an '85 Harley FLT that I built for my wife. Far bike is an '82 FLT with a 92" stroked Shovelhead engine that I rode for 13 or 14 years.
Current Valkyrie Tourer ('99 CA model). A lot of Interstate parts found their way onto it and I like the look. The fairing setup is a Memphis Bat Wing; I figured out which of their Trigger-Lock plates would allow the use of a Fats windshield in place of the Bat Wing and I can change them in a couple minutes.
My first Tourer (an '00) when I posted it for sale in 2009. At the time I had 5 Valkyries and a VTX1800C.
Pics of my '01 I/S and a couple Concours 14s forthcoming at some point. I'm a ham radio operator and all of my street bikes have two-way gear installed. The '99 Tourer has both a CB radio and a VHF/UHF amateur transceiver in its electronics complement.
