Let's see your CB750

This was quite a while back! 836 Bore.. John Harman frame. Front wheel hub converted to rear wheel with disc brake. Machined sprocket and new rotor mount to adapt to hub. Many parts I custom built (handlebars, foot pegs, rear backrest and more. In the 70's there was a company that had a very small dry battery with electronics that eliminated the stock battery.. so it was kick start all the way. Removed the starter and mounted the coils where the starter used to be. VERY light bike...! Hallmark dual disc front wheel. These are pretty much all the pics I have of this bike. It along with everything else we owned was stolen in 1976.:mad:
See, that's what I was referring to about sitting "in" the bike. On the Arlen Ness bikes, the tank and front end sat so much lower that the tank and front end on this one. This one looks very much like a '68 Bonneville chopper I built, down to the girder front end. Unfortunately, no pictures survive.

Here is one pics of my CB 750 from 1975 that I am building back to original.

My 76 I have had since 04. Bought it off of Ebay for $1025 in Milwaukee. Flew up and rode her home to Dallas in 20 hours! Been in love ever since!! Actually it is the same as the first one I had back in 85. I moved to Dallas on it with my dog in 86 and retired her in 88 to the junk yard. Kickin self in pants.....this one stay with me when I die! lol

This is a great thread and so many different type builds. Here's mine, a 1978 with a 97 Suzuki GSXR front end swap, custom seat from a 2000 MV Agusta 750F4, custom tank etc. etc.
