Hi Sorry for the delay, thanks for the information I am new to this Bike & will find details like that very useful when I get to start the rebuild Yes it has the Vin number on the Head stock, I do have the grab bars somewhere, but again thanks.i see your grab bars are missing i have a decent spare pair if your interested
Ok.. thankstez4b4 i think yours is a european model with a riveted plate on it, mines just stamped into the headstock and brake reservoir writing all in japanese also the chain adjusting stickers etc in jap.
I love the look of the sohc engine as well. Have fun with that jockey shift! If you have any sohc motor specific questions feel free to hit me up.I've been building my custom for almost a year. & half. I have torn it down started as a box of bolts, covers, casings & gears. Got a frame. And well. It seems to be one issue after another. Minor stuff. But again driving me crazy. I am a newbie at the whole build a bike. But turning wrench. I am not. Anyway... I love the look of how raw the motor is. Unlike all the new chopper BS. I've got it pretty complete. Was hoping to get some pointers. Possibly an over all Critique.( I can take it.!) Don't want to bring it to a small vintage show. Then hear laughs. Don't think I did to bad for my first.
