Good Day All. I frequently have to replace the o-rings in the carburetor assembly after letting my motorcycle sit for as little as 2-3 weeks. This most recent time I got o-rings from Harbor Freight that indicated they were suitable for use with gasoline and motor vehicles. I must be doing something wrong here (aside from taking three weeks off of riding). I cannot imagine this is considered regular and routine maintenance.
Wrong size? Wrong type? Some trick to installation? Grease, technique, etc?
Size and type of o-ring to follow. Do not have them at hand right now.
Any help would be appreciated. This has vexxed me for too long.
