K4 verses K7-8 cylinder head

I'm interested in purchasing the Delkevic complete megaphone exhaust system, I have a 1974 CB750 K4.
I would like to purchase the system for a 1977-78 to avoid the star clamps that hold the header pipe to the head, I know I would have to remove the exhaust pipe flange other than that are the cylinder heads from 1974 to 1978 the same?

Yes the exhaust will fit,you will have to remove the slip on style exhaust flanges. You will have to get studs, nuts and the collars and new exhaust crush washers gasket between the exhaust and the head. The old ones behind the early model flanges can be hard to get pryed out of the head
