K4 Turn Signal issue

Looking for some thoughts and ideas on a new problem. My turn signals work intermittently. They don’t work when the headlight is turned on. Trying to understand how the two are interconnected? Has anyone come across this issue.

The 74 CB750 is all original and has 3400 miles in very unmodified shape.

Verified all bulbs are working and correct numbers. Everything works as it should until you turn on the headlamp in hi or low beam and lights stop flashing and beeper stops.

Appreciate any input.

It sounds like a wire isn't correctly hooked up. I would verify that the headlight and turn signals are correctly wired up, not connected to each other.
