I've cleaned and rebuilt my carbs on my 82 750F, following Sean Grier's book of instructions. I've reassembled the bank of carbs and tightened up the front and rear rails. But I'm not sure how closed is "closed" regarding the choke plates. Maybe you can see from the picture that the plate isn't quite covering the accelerator nozzle. There's a little room at the top of the plate, certainly enough for the famous high E electric guitar string to go thru. Should the plate close completely at the top? Should its cut-out for the accelerator pump nozzle be right over the nozzle? Thanks.
