Is it the same engine?

Hi all, can anyone tell me whether a 1980 CB750KZ DOHC (UK version) RC01 engine is the same as the 750K (North American version) RC01 engine?

I’m looking to potentially take parts from one to another.

I think the same engine... tho carbs different in USA model..lean burn, and emissions plumbing...

I own the USA model in Oz....and get engine parts from local suppliers, we only had the KZ here...
Chassis bits i get from CSMNL.....

Silvers in UK now list the USA (K) model in their search engine, maybe they can give you a definite answer.....

Thanks both, it looks like they use the same pistons which suggests they use the same block and header so that’s a good thing. Thanks for the links/website info.
