Indicator issues

I have had my electrical hat on today, lights seem OK now, checked brake light all good apart from the front brake light switch which will have to wait until I have front brakes.
Idiot lights all work but I have a strange issue with the indicators, after changing the flasher relay as the original one was faulty I have rear indicators which flash correctly but the front ones just give a very faint flash, repeaters flash as they should don't understand where the problem is to affect just the front indicators?

Sat down with the wiring diagram last night then drew out the indicator circuit in isolation and the only common denominator I could see for the front indicators is the earth via the headlamp frame so will check that out next, maybe a green wiras pulled out when I was working on the loom.

Had a Eureka moment after a morning of gardening in the blazing sun, ran a direct earth from the battery negative to the indicator light case and bingo they work perfectly! so just need to go through the variety of green ground wires to get a good earth to the headlight frame.
