Hi have a 1977 CB750 import, had to get a date certificate, and the stamped VIN is different to vin on sticker the sticker is the same on VOSA. Any help please

Is the sticker the original Honda one? Is the stamped VIN on the frame? Those two should be the same. Or, was the sticker issued by someone other than Honda?

Is your VOSA an approval/certification for registration in the UK ? We have an LO1 in australia and they issue you an adjusted number for rego . Pain in the arse really as no other bike has this number , so why change it . Having this cert means I have to display the new number and you have to put it on the steering stem and near the rear tank mount , meh !

I bought a 750K with an impossible frame number.
Someone in the US had ground off the numbers and stamped their own version on.
The bike (which displays the attributes of a K4) came with a NOVA and full receipt from the importer.
The trouble is, that because the number on the frame doesn't relate to any CB750 that has ever been built, I can never get a dating certificate for it.
Never mind, I got it cheap, and another £300 bought me a K1 frame with a NOVA
