I am unsure what you call it, but pictured is an ignition cover where the bike was laid down. I got this bike with a neighbor kid and after removing the cover and taking the points plate off we found that the stud was broken. Is this even able to be saved? Can I weld a new stud on?

Stud just threads into the crankshaft and has an oring seal on it. I thought cb750supply had the studs but i cant find it now,I would probably look at new advancer assembly too unless you are sure its not damaged. 4into1.com has reproduction advancers. Make sure point plate is good too

Thank you so much! I was searching for ignition stud and everything and couldn’t find anything at all. Found one on eBay straight off! You’re the man!

ebay is usually the best bet for most parts for these bikes for oem parts.
