Almost everything is different. Connecting rods, rocker arms, engine main and rod bearings, cylinder, valve cover and couple other small things thats about it. They are similar and some parts do swap. The auto is also not a dry sump.
 
Less power, the torque converter takes a lot of power just like a car. The engine was built to make more lower end power. They are slower than the standard bike. Many drag racers use them though because they are dead on consistant. You can do many of the same performance upgrades to these as you can with the standard bike. Parts for the transmissions are getting hard to find. I would buy one if I had the opportunity
 
Because they are rare and I want to add one to my collection. Like said they are desirable, people use them for bracket racing and they are simple to ride, no clutch or shifting gears.
