Hi there, I leave here the wiring drawings of a CB750 SevenFifty RC42. both on original and the color tracing I did manually some time ago, in both jpg and pdf. Hopefully useful for you out there, it helped me a lot to figure out the way the bike is connected to make mods. For the colored wirng diagram, I think is best printed from the pdf in a 135% scale to 4 A4 pages (original file is A3).

Hi, I'm not an expert but I think you'd need four sets of points to have four coils or go to a fully electronic set up with a stand alone ECU, crankshaft position sensor etc.
I don't see a problem with wasted spark I imagine the spark on the exhaust stroke probably helps to clean the plugs?
