Hello all I am hoping to get some advice on what’s going on with my bike, it’s a CB 750 from 1980 that’s been having some issues. Awhile ago I posted for a different issue, and was told to re-jet the carbs. I have since done this and the bike is back to working condition, but the idle is all over the place.
When I start the bike, the idle starts around 700ish and when it’s warm it will idle somewhere around 1-1.1k. However once I begin to actually ride the bike, and come to a stop at a light or what not the idle drops to 800, then works its way back up all the way to 1800 rpm where it hovers, all without me on the throttle at all. Recently, it has even been going as high as 2400 at idle and almost feels like it’s starting to run away. Looking for some help or advice, thanks in advance
