I stripped my ‘74 rear wheel to clean and replace all the bearings. Now I can’t get the wheel to fit back in the dropouts, it appears to be off by 1/4”.
I’ve since pulled all the bearings again, tried to fit it with no bearings and still the same issue. I also checked a spare swing arm to be sure it wasn’t a swing arm issue and the problem replicates.
This is my first build and I should have paid more attention when I disassembled it but didn’t since I was following the workshop manual.
Any ideas why the distance between the two spacers would be proud?
