Help!! I screwed up

First of all the picture he posted doesn't look legit it looks like a stock photo off of the internet which I almost found instantly and I'm not the first one to notice that

Exactly that's not the original picture you posted which made people to believe the picture you posted was your bike which obviously it is not who was born when

OK...your right about the 2 pics being off the internet. They are from the fb marketplace ad in which I bought the bike that I have saved on my computer. The 3 pics I put up on this subject are all of my bike. Its sad when someone gets on this site and cant bring himself to believe these bikes are legit. My bike is what I say it is and if that keep you up at night Im sorry. I cant get upset over someone that brags about restoring 20 bikes, knowing a lot about carburetors but dosent even know how to spell idle. Yes Davidson....its idle not idol. I wont post any more pics of my bikes seeing it upsets some and I wont get into it anymore. Who wants to get into it over a $5000 bike. Have a great nite everyone. PS Ive owned between 40 and 50 bikes over my 64 years so well Im not a certified mechanic I do know a decent amount about bikes. If anyone wants to come look at my 750, Im by Saratoga....PM me

please keep posting on here - I know how it is with technology sometimes you don’t have a correct picture so you pull one off the internet that is representative. Damm I envy the guys that do a project and photo
/ document every step but it takes a lot of work. When I am doing repairs / maintenance I’m not fussing with my phone / laptop!!

please keep posting nice bike good find

Thanks

Thanks everybody....here is an update. Ive got the bike running really, really good. Replaced all the little o rings on the pilot jets, backed them all out about 2 1/4 and like I said...runs really good! Last thing I want to get right is the way it starts. It takes about 8 -10 pushes on the start button on full choke with some throttle...and finally it kicks in, starts, puts out a little blue smoke and after its warmed up it runs great. Any starting help would be appreatiated.
I was just looking through some old posts on pilot screws and came upon your stream. My bike started making the occasional odd surge when riding with the throttle slightly open and then giving it a small twist. Like when your riding at about 40 mph in top gear and you twist the throttle slightly to speed up. At this amount of throttle the pilot screws are still affecting the fuel/air mixture.

Anyways, I was just wondering if you ever found the right amount of turns out. I have an 81 which likely has the exact same carbs. I found a carb manual online a while back titled Carb Rebuilding Honda DOHC-4’s by MacGregor Carb Cleaning Services for our exact carbs. It says, rather than perform the tedious idle-drop method you described, for 750s do 3 turns out. My bike fires up immediately, even in winter when I start it once a week.

Your bike looks awesome btw. I've had mine since 1986.

You base what I say off of one misspelled word.. but doesn't know how to spell doesn't.. you sure it's not someone other than some.. you might want to proofread your own comments before you try to correct my grammar... You can post all the pictures of your bikes you want... Just don't post other people's.. and then get called out on it..it doesn't come off well after 64 years you think you might know that.
