Proud first time owner of a 1978 cb750.
I have restored/ rebuild mainly Goldwings over the last 15 yrs , therefore familiar with that model bike but not this one , which has set outside for quite some time.
I will do the usual initial run through but will obviously need some guidance on this build.
I will ship the carbs off for sure. Engine is not locked up :)
Thank you for accepting me.

You definitely got yourself a project! Kudos on deciding to send the carbs out, just be sure to use a reputable service. The later PD carb are a PITA but they do work well when set up properly. I just finished two sets of my own 78' CB750 carbs this weekend, one was leaking and the other had been subjected to a shoddy repair/rebuild attempt and then sorely neglected requiring three helicoil repairs. I'm pretty good with carbs but I absolutely detest working on them. I'd rather be riding! Your experience with the Gold Wing restorations will serve you well, I've got a couple 1200 Gold Wings to restore...

eventually!

I know every nut and bolt on the wings. Some I restore to oem and some I have fun with and totally redesign. I’m looking forward to this project and will do my best to get back to original look and function.
Here’s a pic of my last wing. I still have it and it’s for sale :)
