Looking for site where I can purchase headlight that would have a 50/40 rating. Bike is a 1974 CB 750. If I go with a higher output light will that draw battery down. All I am finding is Halogen lights rated at 60/55. Thanks for any advise.

I had an H4 halogen conversion on my K4 since the mid '90s. No issues w burnt switches or anything or battery drain if the electrical system is in good order.

I recently switched to a classic white Holley RetroBright LED and it's amazing. Perfectly even pattern, brighter with less draw than a halogen, and the color looks legit enough for a vintage vehicle that I'm gonna get a pair for my '51 Chevy 3100 and my '87 Dodge Power Ram.

I have coverted all my bikes to an led headlight, expensive, if you use a light certified for use in commercial trucks like the ones from Maxxima.
Ours have 5 year warranty when used in on highway tractor. they one piece with the standard 3 prong plug . high and low beam built in .
7" round for my older bikes fit like a normal old incandesent lamp .

Thanks for all input, was just able to respond. Installed a Halogen 60//55 and the decrease in draw from incandescent was great in my case. Also installed new right hand switch with option to turn headlamp on and off. Again thanks.

Did that to my us import also
