I have a new 2nd hand Hornet 2023.
I need to get 12 volt power to my GPS, Dashcam front and back, phone and to my Tankbag where my vlogging equipment lives.
Can I go direct from the battery, or ideally is there an accessory area that I can go from so that all is turned off when the bike is parked.
A powerlet socket might also be handy.
Do I need to remove the tank or us there an easier way to run the wiring. Pics are alway welcome.
Thanks for the opportunity to join the group and get advice from people with the experience.

Looking forward to some answers.

Ah yes wiring.... One way would be to connect directly to the battery with an inline fuse, but that will not give you the option of powering down when the bike is shut down. Or.... if you are good with electrical you can tap off the ignition switch.. with an inline fuse just for safety. Do you have a volt meter to test whether the lead you want to tap off of is hot when the switch is on? Don't know your experience with electrical, I build from scratch and do all my own wiring, so I am comfortable with wiring.
