Hello everyone, I am new to the forum. I have several bikes. One I bought 18 months ago is a BSA fitted with a CB750K engine. My first question is, what type of petrol should I be running though it. The previous owner, used an octane booster additive. I am running on Shell VPower 99 fuel. I am based in the UK.
Any suggestions?
I have another issue, I am reading up on now regarding pods and jet sizes. I am trying different mixture settings to find out how to get smoother running at 4000 rpm plus. It stutters and mis fires a bit at present. Most of the time, being an outfits I am running at 3000 to 3500 rpm, so still on the pilot jet, which runs nice and smooth.
